| Kayak angler Kristen Viscardo is 23 years old and was fishing Mother's Day morning in Great Kill NY which is in Staten Island NY. She was trolling a Rapalla jointed X-Rap in a bunker pattern. She had caught several bluefish up to 10 lbs. before she hooked into this striper and just knew that it was different from the others she had landed. It took her about 10 minutes to get the fish to the side of the kayak and then her father Danny Viscardo assisted her to get it into the kayak for a few quick photos, before releasing it. |
